Mortgage Loan Officer

What do you do at Woodsboro Bank? “I help clients by playing a key part in making their home dreams a reality. With both secondary and portfolio financing programs, we can offer the flexibility to meet the wide range of needs in our community.” – Erin, VP, Retail Lending Sales Manager

If you are looking for a career in a locally owned and operated community bank, then you’ve come to the right place! Woodsboro Bank values experience and a commitment to the community. After all, we’ve been serving the communities in Frederick County for 124 years.

We are looking to expand our team by adding a Mortgage Loan Officer! If you, too, enjoy turning dreams into reality, we’d love to talk to you. In this role, you will generate mortgage loans, in compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations and cross-sell bank products and services.  Strong relationship skills are a must as the MLO will conduct loan interviews with existing and prospective customers, counseling these customers on loan requirements, bank lending policies and communicate the process and credit decisions to applicants.  Give instructions for the preparation of necessary loan documentation and review documentation for compliance with terms of approval and legal sufficiency.

Why Woodsboro Bank? Just ask our colleagues – “I love the culture and flexibility.  I know that’s corny but the fact that I feel like I have people who have my back and will support me both professionally and personally.”

Additional Requirements:

  • Requires 1 – 5 years of experience in direct lending
  • Must qualify for NMLS registration
