2nd Quarter Colleague Additions & Promotions

We are delighted to announce Alice Dickerson and Melanie Meyer joined Woodsboro Bank during the second quarter.

Alice Dickerson Alice Dickerson joined us in May as Vice President, Compliance Officer. She has 29 years of experience in the banking industry. Her banking career includes experience in credit, loan operations, deposit operations, IT and Compliance. While in compliance, she has held titles of Chief Compliance Officer, CRA Officer, BSA Officer and Information Security Officer. Alice received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Melanie Meyer Melanie Meyer joined us as a Mortgage Loan Officer in May. She has over 17 years of experience in the mortgage field in underwriting and as a Loan Officer. Melanie studied Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland, University College. 

 

We are also pleased to announce several promotions that occurred in the second quarter:

Beverly Layne was promoted to Vice President, Loan Operations.
Michelle Green was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Controller.
Erin Dieterich was promoted to Bank Officer, Retail Lending.
Verlie Facemire was promoted to Bank Officer, ACH Coordinator/Deposit Operations Specialist.
Lucretia Holman was promoted to Bank Officer, Branch Manager.
Temikki Morrison was promoted to Bank Officer, Branch manager.
Lee Ann Naugle was promoted to Bank Officer, Executive Assistant.
Kellie Putman was promoted to Bank Officer, Sales and Marketing Specialist.

Beverly Layne Beverly has 30 years of banking experience in lending and loan servicing. She joined our team in 2016 and has been instrumental in the continuous development of our loan operations department. Beverly holds her BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from University of Baltimore. She resides in Westminster, MD and has been involved with community activities as a representative of Woodsboro Bank with the Downtown Frederick Partnership and Blessings in a Backpack.
Michelle Green Michelle joined Woodsboro Bank in June of 2018 as an Accountant. Michelle began her career in banking as a Teller/CSR in 1991 and has held numerous positions over the years from within the branch network to Finance and then settling in her career in Deposit Operations and Compliance. Michelle has quickly made an impact in our finance group helping the bank better manage our financial information and modernizing our processes to enable the bank’s grow. In addition to Michelle’s BS in Business Administration/Finance from Towson State University, she also received her CAMS and CBAP certifications. She has an active membership with the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists LLC (ACAMS) and is a volunteer with her children’s school athletic events in Hanover, PA.
Erin Dieterich Erin began her career with Woodsboro Bank 11 years ago when she started working in branch operations. Overtime, Erin found her passion in lending and has worked hard to develop skills that have proved successful in the growth of our retail lending department. Erin continues to grow professionally through her involvement in the Maryland Bankers Association Emerging Leaders program, as well as her active participation in the Frederick County Association of Realtors organization where she sits on the Young Professionals Network Committee.
Verlie Facemire Verlie started her banking career in 1987 and gained experience in branch operations, prior to moving into ACH and wires as the result of an acquisition. In 2003, she brought her knowledge to Woodsboro Bank and has been a key colleague within the deposit operations department ever since. Verlie is a long-time resident of Frederick, MD and enjoys volunteer work with colleagues for Blessings in A Backpack.
Lucretia Holman Lucretia “Cree” started with Woodsboro 3 years ago at the Woodsboro branch and is going into her 11th year of banking. Cree has a strong operations and retail background. Her positive attitude has been instrumental in her advancement at the bank and as she continues to grow within the banking industry. In her time away from the office, Cree volunteers with her children’s school.
Temikki Morrison Temikki joined Woodsboro bank 13 years ago in our branch system. Temikki is currently the Branch Manager of our Guilford location and is active in the community volunteering with the Woman to Woman Pop Up Shops and Financial Literacy Committee. Additionally, Temikki is growing her career in banking as she is currently a student with the Maryland Banking School.
Lee Ann Naugle Lee Ann began her career with Woodsboro Bank 21 years ago and continues to be an invaluable member of our team. Much of Lee Ann’s success can be attributed to her personal drive for excellence and strong commitment to the Bank. Lee Ann is a resident of PA and is very involved in her Church, Mt. Carmel UMC in Orrtanna, PA, where she serves on numerous committees. She has been a delegate representative to the 2018 and 2019 annual conferences.    
Kellie Putman Kellie began her career with Woodsboro Bank 12 years ago when she started working as a Teller in branch operations. Since then, she has held numerous positions but has ultimately settled in Marketing. She holds a business management and marketing degree with minors in accounting, economics and communications from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Kellie is active in the community where she is the MPact Girls Ministries Coordinator at Calvary Assembly in Walkersville, MD and is also expanding her professional portfolio as a member of the Maryland Bankers Association Emerging Leaders program.
