We're neighbors, friends, and family.
Community banking at its best.
Woodsboro Bank is a community based bank headquartered in Woodsboro, MD, and serving Frederick and surrounding counties. We are an organization driven by servicing the community in which we live with compassion and dedication.
It is our belief that strength and growth within the community comes first from a commitment to knowing its people. Who you are and where you come from is more important to us than your balance at the end of the day. It is the relationships we have built through the generations that have enabled us to better understand how we can make a true difference and move forward, as a community.
To be the best bank in Central Maryland for our Colleagues, Clients, Community and Shareholders.
To be the best partner for banking services and expertise for businesses and individuals.
Established in 1899
Woodsboro Bank was established in 1899 in response to the growing agricultural, commercial and residential needs of the community. We’re headquartered in a historic three-story, pressed red brick Italianate structure at 5 North Main Street in Woodsboro, that was constructed specifically for the bank in 1901.
In 1993, the Board of Directors voted to establish a location in Thurmont, the bank’s first branch. Today, Woodsboro Bank operates from eight offices located throughout Frederick County, including the bank’s Commercial Lending Office located in the Second & Market Building on E. Second Street in downtown Frederick.
Dedicated to Service
Along with convenience, we place a great deal of importance on providing quality service to our customers. We devote resources to training and monitoring our staff’s performance to maintain the level of service our customers have come to expect from Woodsboro Bank.
Dedicated to Our Community
Woodsboro Bank’s mission of serving Frederick County is not limited to financial matters. Each year the bank supports a wide variety of philanthropic, cultural, and charitable organizations for the betterment of the community.
