At Woodsboro Bank, it is our belief that strength and growth within the community comes first from a commitment to knowing its people. We know Frederick because we are Frederick. We live here, we work here, we give here. The relationships we have built through generations have enabled us to better understand how we can make a true difference and move forward, as a community. Commitment to our community is at the heart of who we are. Here's a deeper look at our involvement in our community.
Each member of the Woodsboro Bank Team receives 24 hours of paid volunteer time annually outside of their personal organizational involvement. This time is used to make an impact in the community we serve. That's over 1,400 hours of volunteering each year! Our colleagues are involved in a wide variety of organizations in our community.
When deciding on organizations for the Bank to support, it's a two-way street. Sometimes colleagues ask for our support for an organization they are involved with, other times we ask for theirs. We work together as a team to make the biggest impact possible.

The largest category we give to is clubs and organizations that go on and do further work to benefit our community such as leadership groups, service clubs, and similar organizations.
No matter how large or small each individual involvement may seem, we want people to know these causes matter. We do our best to support a diverse range of organizations.
