When Serina Roy, owner and founder, started Dublin Roasters she envisioned “more than just a place to get coffee,” and to say she succeeded would be an understatement. In addition to offering over 80 varieties of organic artisan coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and baked good, Dublin Roasters is a local gathering place and great supporter of the Frederick community.
With over 20 years of experience, Serina is dedicated to the art of coffee roasting. Dublin Roaster partners with small farms in countries such as Brazil, Honduras, Colombia, Vietnam, Ecuador, and India to source raw coffee beans. Working with these small farms allows Dublin Roasters to chose partners that align with their visions of community and sustainability. The raw coffee beans are roasted to order on site in small batches. The air roaster used surrounds the beans with hot air rather than direct flames. This not only improves taste but is also more environmentally friendly. Guests of the shop are welcome to tour the roasting facility and learn about the process.
Dublin Roasters also offers wholesale coffee business services to local restaurants, cafes, markets, breweries, and businesses throughout the state, including Woodsboro Bank. We are delighted to share Dublin Roasters coffee with our clients and colleagues.
As a true partner in the community, Dublin Roasters is a hub for social events, hosting meeting, and local artisans. The display of art and goods for sale are not to be missed! Dublin Roasters is actively involved in charitable groups and organizations working with Sophie & Madigan’s Playground, Little Longears Mini Donkey Rescue, and Blessings in a Backpack.
Through our years of partnership, Woodsboro Bank and Dublin Roasters have created a relationship based in trust and dedication. "Woodsboro Bank has stood by my company as we have grown, added mail order, increased production, and bulk purchasing of green coffee,” says Serina, “The pandemic brought us some challenges here and there, and Woodsboro Bank offered options for Dublin as we navigated grants and loans. Being a Community Coffee Café, we enjoy their style of community banking."
