Frederick, Maryland - Woodsboro Bank, Frederick County’s longest-standing community bank, is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Community Champion Scholarship, recognizing outstanding local high school seniors who exemplify leadership, service, and academic excellence within their communities.
Now in its 2026 cycle, the Community Champion Scholarship awards $1,500 to graduating seniors who demonstrate a commitment to making a meaningful impact through service, leadership, and personal initiative.
This year’s recipients distinguish themselves not only through academic achievement, but through innovative, community-focused work that reflects the core values of Woodsboro Bank. Each student will be recognized by the bank this spring at their school’s award ceremony.
Aditi Bandyopadhyay – Oakdale High School
Aditi Bandyopadhyay plans to study public health on a pre-med track with the goal of becoming a physician and policy advocate addressing childhood food insecurity.

Katie Crummitt – Middletown High School
