Prior to launching her firm, Layman held senior positions with leading real estate management organizations and provided strategic leadership for a local real estate investment company, where she oversaw portfolio performance and supported long-term growth initiatives.
“Kate is an accomplished leader with an impressive track record of navigating complex financial and operational environments,” said Rich Ohnmacht, President & CEO of Woodsboro Bank. “Her strategic mindset and deep understanding of asset management will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our organization and serve our community.”
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Layman is a dedicated community leader who has served on numerous nonprofit and civic boards. She has held executive leadership roles, including President, at Federated Charities of Frederick and has worked closely with local government, business leaders, and community stakeholders to advance economic development and support the vitality of downtown Frederick.
“There is a strong alignment between Woodsboro Bank’s mission and my passion for building thriving communities,” said Layman. “I am honored to join the Board and look forward to contributing to the bank’s continued success and its positive impact across Frederick County.”
“On behalf of the Board, we are thrilled to welcome Kate to Woodsboro Bank,” said Gordon Cooley, Chair, Woodsboro Bank Board of Directors. “Her depth of experience in financial oversight and strategic growth, coupled with her commitment to the local community, makes her an outstanding addition to our Board.”
